Please read these Terms carefully before using Suvant. By creating an account or using the service you agree to be bound by them.
1. The service
Suvant is a web-based personal improvement platform. You upload selfies, receive an honest numeric assessment across 8 presentation categories, and unlock a gamified action plan ("quests") to work on over time.
Suvant is for personal, non-commercial use by adults aged 18 and older. It is a reflection and self-improvement tool. It is not a medical service, a mental health service, or a diagnostic tool. Category scores and quest recommendations are opinion-based assessments, not medical advice. Do not rely on them for medical, health, psychological, or safety decisions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Suvant. By creating an account you affirm that you are 18 or older. We may terminate accounts that violate this requirement.
3. Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You agree to notify us promptly at support@suvant.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Biometric data and consent
The audit feature requires you to provide explicit, informed consent before uploading selfies. Your selfies constitute biometric information under applicable law. You may withdraw consent and delete your photos at any time in Account > Privacy. Full details are in the Biometric Policy. By recording consent you acknowledge you have read and understood that policy.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Suvant offers an annual subscription plan ("Suvant Pro") at a price displayed at checkout. Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. All billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
Refunds. We offer a satisfaction guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your audit within 14 days of your first purchase, contact support@suvant.com for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload photos of anyone other than yourself.
- Upload photos of minors.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
- Use Suvant in a way that violates any applicable law.
- Resell or redistribute your results or the quest content.
7. Content and AI
The 8-category scores and quest recommendations are generated by GPT-4o (OpenAI). They reflect the model's assessment of presentation attributes in your uploaded photos under specific system-prompt guidance. They are not guarantees, not medical opinions, and not statements of inherent worth or value. Suvant's framing is self-vs-self: your progress against your own baseline, never a comparison to others.
8. Intellectual property
Suvant and its content (UI, quest text, branding) are owned by Suvant. Your photos are your own and we claim no ownership of them. The numeric scores generated from your photos are derived works owned by Suvant, provided to you for your personal use under your subscription.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. CATEGORY SCORES AND QUEST RECOMMENDATIONS ARE OPINION-BASED AND NOT GUARANTEED TO REFLECT ANY OBJECTIVE REALITY.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUVANT'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email and by displaying a notice in the app at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
